Gym Is A High Risk Place For COVID-19 To Spread – Doctor

For people who like to work out in the gym, you must be extra vigilant when exercising. This is because of gyms were believed to be a high potential place for coronavirus to spread.

According to Dr. Norman Swan, a medically qualified journalist, the gym was a perfect place for the infection because it is full of sweat.

“Dampness is a bad thing for spreading germs. You’ve got these big blokes pumping away and you never know, one of them might be a super spreader,” said Swan.

“It doesn’t mean you stop going to the gym, you’ve got to be super careful at the gym. You’ve got to make sure you wipe down (the equipment) before and after use.” He added.

Dr. Swan also reminds people to make sure they always use hand-sanitizer while working out as well. Those who have symptoms like coughing or sneezing should not come to the gym until they are feeling well.
