It was reported by The Spectator Index, that a 53-year-old woman has died because of coronavirus or COVID-19 in Indonesia. It is the first recorded fatality from the infection in that Southeast Asian country.

According to Achmad Yurianto, the health ministry official, the woman was believed to be a foreigner. When she admitted to a hospital, she is already in a critical state.

Unfortunately, Yurianto does not tell what is the woman nationality or in what hospital she had died. But, it is believed that her home country’s embassy knows about her death and will arrange her body to be sent back to her home country.
