LATEST: 80 KKM Staff Positive COVID-19, Mostly In Teluk Intan Hospital

In a statement from Malaysia’s Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, it was reported that 80 KKM health workers had been diagnosed with COVID-19 infection.

According to the shared diagram, nearly 40 KKM workers at Teluk Intan Hospital were infected with the virus. Followed by Selayang Hospital and Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II  only 5 and 4 KKM workers were involved respectively.

“As of this morning (March 26, 2020), it was reported that 80 KKM health workers were diagnosed with COVID-19,” said Dr. Noor Hisham.

“However, all health and front liners are advised to take precautionary measures as they are especially recommended to keep hands clean, practice social distancing and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required,” he added.
