Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KKM) confirms that there is another polio case in Sabah involving 3-year-old children in Sandakan. The children were believed to be not a Malaysian citizen
According to what is stated by KKM’s Twitter, it was also confirmed that the child had never received a polio vaccine since birth.
Terdapat satu kes baharu Polio melibatkan kanak-kanak lelaki bukan warganegara berumur tiga tahun di Sandakan, Sabah.
Kanak-kanak ini tidak pernah menerima vaksin polio sejak lahir.
Sehingga 8 Mac 2020, secara keseluruhan, terdapat 4 kes yang telah disahkan polio di Sabah.

The child had symptoms of left leg weakness on January 18, 2020, and was hospitalized and is in stable condition.

This has resulted in 4 polio cases being recorded in Sabah as of March 8, 2020.
