Strong Earthquake Hits South Of Bali

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) — A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.3 on the Richter scale occurred near South of Bali, Indonesia at 1.45 am (Malaysian time).

Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement, said that the epicentre of the quake was located 302 kilometres (km) south from Denpasar, Indonesia, at a depth of 45km.

No tsunami threat to Malaysia.
