YTL Offers Free 40GB Data To Help Kids Study At Home, Here’s How To Apply

The YTL Foundation offers 40GB of free internet data for students to learn from home. With schools closed for the time being and families staying safe at home, the foundation believes it’s important to help keep children’s minds active and curious throughout this time.

“Based on a recent survey of Malaysian parents with children in school, YTL Foundation found that families have limited access to learning resources and that not everyone can afford to pay for internet connectivity for learning.”

“In collaboration with YES and FrogAsia, YTL Foundation is providing free mobile data and online learning materials to all students registered in Malaysian government schools,” said YTL Foundation.

In three steps, parents can obtain a 60-day valid internet SIM card with effect from the date of the activation.

  1. Register on the YES page.
  2. Wait for a confirmation call from YES within 24 hours.
  3. The SIM card will be sent to your home address within 3 working days.
