Local Company Gives Out 1000 Free Chickens To Villagers In Johor

Malaysia’s MCO, which was initially scheduled between March 18 and 31, requires non-essential businesses to stop operations while the public has been ordered to stay at home to curb the Covid-19 outbreak.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the government decided to extend the MCO until April 14 because updates from the National Security Council and Health Ministry indicated an increase in Covid-19 cases.

A 23-year-old man and his family as Kilang Ayam Norliza, distributing 1,000 free chicken to residents in 10 villages around Pontian, Johor following the recent Covid-19 outbreak. In his posting, he said “Our poultry company is near to the village. The locals support it. So we take this as an initiative when they need help.”

According to Badrul, the distribution program involving villagers and employees of his family-owned companies began on the ninth day of the Movement Control Order (CPP), last Thursday.
