JAKARTA, May 8 — Indonesia has reported 336 new COVID-19 cases and 13 more fatalities today, bringing the cumulative figures to 943 deaths and 13,112 positive cases.
The Indonesian government spokesman on COVID-19, Achmad Yurianto, said the new cases and 13 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
“Between noon yesterday and noon today, 113 patients have recovered, thus 2,494 people have recovered so far,” he said.
According to him, a total of 29,087 patients were still under surveillance for COVID-19.
Jakarta remains the province with the highest number of fatalities with 424 deaths, followed by East Java (138) and Central Java (92) while the rest were in the other provinces.
