20 New Cases Reported In Malaysia, Still No New Death – Health DG

Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) has reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 infections to date. From those cases, 15 cases were import cases while the other 5 were local cases. This resulted in a total of 7,877 cases of COVID-19 in Malaysia.

Therefore, the total number of active cases with Covid-19 infection was 1,292 cases. They were isolated and treated.

The matter was announced by Malaysia’s Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, at a press conference on Covid-19’s Recent Developments in Malaysia.

To date, 6 positive cases of Covid-19 are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Of these, two cases required respiratory assistance.

It also has been reported that no COVID-19 deaths cases have been reported today. Thus, the cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia remained at 115 cases (1.46 percent of total cases).
