62 Year Old Man Invented Bicycle That Rides On Water

INDONESIA: A 62-year-old man named Faransiskus Saferi Deornai loved to spend his time at the beach with his own invention which is a water bike that can be cycled just like the real one.

He went to places at Flores Island and found none bike that use as transportation to enjoy the view of the sea and that’s basically how he gets the idea to create such an invention.

With all the hard work, he finally built a prototype and test it on the island on 7 January.

“We have the beautiful places here, but without enough and right facilities, how can we explore it?” he said to Liputan6.com.

He admits that he dreamed about this invention years ago, but had no time cause of his job.

He used the time when everyone needs to stay at home cause from the pandemic, with all the time he had, he started to make his dream comes true.

He gathered all the material such as tapes, a bicycle’s frame, few metal pipes, and a mini boat.

“I bought all the materials straight from the store, I don’t use used or recycled items, it won’t last for a long time,” he said.

He believes with his bike, he could across another two islands just by himself which are Adonara Island and Solor Island.

He wished people to give him some donation so he could add more bikes so everyone can enjoy cycling around the island.
