Bananas are one of the most popular fruits in the world. Although originally from Southeast Asia, it is now grown in many of the warmer regions of the world.

Bananas are very rich in nutrition. It is made up of 75% water, 1.3% protein, and 0.6% fat. Bananas also contain high levels of carbohydrates and potassium to provide quick energy to the body.

It is also believed to cure many diseases, bananas are highly recommended to treat fever, disorders of the digestive system, seizures, and more.

The carbohydrate content contained in bananas can be a source of energy for the body. Eating 2 bananas a day can improve your immune system and increase your energy for daily activities.

Banana contains mainly two types of fiber, namely pectin and starch resistant. This fiber is found in unripe bananas. Resistant starch is not digested and ends up in the large intestine, where it becomes food for beneficial intestinal bacteria.

In addition, some cell studies suggest that pectin can help protect against colon cancer.
