Rare Triple Waterspout Spotted In The Philippines Island

A three waterspout appears at an island in Philippines on 30th May 2020. The rare phenomenon that happens on Talim Island in Rizal province has made the residents amazed by what is happening there.

Many footages on social media show the long, thin funnels of water stretching down from a dark cloud into the sea. The triple waterspouts, also called the elephant trunk tornadoes were then disappeared after five minutes.

“There were three waterspouts. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen in the sea,” said Ray Mulbay, one of the residents.

According to other residents, the sunset looks beautiful and magical when it combines with the waterspouts.

As said by Newsflare, waterspouts are are intense columns of swirling clouds that form over a body of water. They are most commonly found in subtropical areas and disappear shortly after they come into contact with land or once the pressure has dissipated. They are also classified as a non-supercell tornado over water.
