WhatsApp Finally Launches Payment

June 15 2020, Facebook added digital payments on Whatsapp messaging service. The option is starting in Brazil with a hope to expend it to the rest of the world.

People in Brazil now can use the Whatsapp messaging app to make a purchase or just simply send money, said Facebook in a blog post.

Facebook sees that using Whatsapp as a venue for small businesses is a long-term and money-making idea.

To make a transaction on the app, it will require special identification code or fingerprint verification.
