A Proposal Regarding The Allow Of Full Contact Training For Team Sports Will Be Discussed Next Week

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said the proposal to allow full training in contact for team sports would be presented next week.

“The government has previously allowed training, sports and recreational activities for non-contact individuals or non-team beginning June 15, 2020,” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.

“The government has heard appeals and complaints from contact sports operators including football associations for the reopening of contact sports activities,” he added.

“Next week, Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Seri Rizal Merican Naina Merican is expected to present at a special meeting of ministers regarding the proposal to allow full training in contact for team sports such as football, futsal and so on,” he said.
