A total of 14 compounds were issued by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in the ‘Anti Litter’ operation around Taman Sungai Besi yesterday.
Among the compounds issued involve offenses such as placing business items and dumping garbage in public places.
“The operation, which consists of 22 staff members, is to ensure that the city remains clean, orderly, and complies with regulations, especially from food operators or business premises,” DBKL said in a statement today.
DBKL also confiscated three gas barrels and one gas stove and placed it in the confiscation store of the DBKL Enforcement Department.
“Confiscation was made against foreign traders who fled because doing business without a license,” added DBKL.
Therefore, the people can report if any business premises were found dirty to DBKL at 1 800 88 3255 or directly to the nearest DBKL Branch Office.
