Get To Know The Main Character Of Drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Actor Kim Soo-Hyun returned to the screen through the drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. This time, he will compete acting with actress Seo Yea-Ji and Oh Jung-Se who recently won the Best Supporting Drama Actor trophy at the BaekSang Arts Awards.

In this series, Kim Soo-Hyun plays the role of Mun Gang-Tae. Mun Gang-Tae works as a nurse in a psychiatric ward and has a charming, smart, patient, charismatic, and strong physique.

However, he actually has a big burden that has been borne since childhood. Mun Gang-Tae has a brother with special needs who must be taken care of after their parents have died.

His life felt even bitter because his brother was often troubled. Thus, Gang-Tae is often preoccupied with apologizing to those around him and making him have no friends, not even having time to think of love.

Mun-Yeong is a well-known children’s book writer who has an antisocial personality disorder. She was born to a well-known family, her father was a professor of architecture at a well-known university, and her mother was the author of a well-known mystery novel.

She grew up in a very cold and alone person. People around even call it a psychopath. Ko Mun-Yeong also always focus on himself. However, that made her stand firm when he wanted to have something.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is a romantic fantasy drama that has an unusual character. Director Park Shin-woo hopes the audience can catch the message that humans must be able to accept others as they are through the drama.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay airs every Saturday and Sunday at 20.30 WIB since June 20 on Netflix.
