A Couple in China is responsible for the repairs of a shattered glass castle housed at the Shanghai Museum of Glass. The accident caused by their kids playing around in the museum and hit the castle.
Made by Spanish glassblower, Miguel Arribas, spent 500 hours of work to create this magnificent art called Fantasy Castle which based upon the famous Cinderella Castle at Disney World. It was then given to the museum back in 2016 and since then, it is now worth about 450,000 yuan ($64,000).
According to the report, two children were chasing each other when they crossed the belt barrier and bumped into the display case, causing the castle to fall. The main spire and other parts of the structure were damaged.
The museum is hoping to have Arribas artists brought in to repair the damages, but they are unable to come to China cause of the pandemic-caused restrictions. The parents have apologized and promised to take responsibility for the repairs.
