MetMalaysia: Thunderstorm Warnings Issued For Most States Until This Evening

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning in several states which is expected to occur until 5 pm this evening.

The thunderstorm warning was issued by MetMalaysia at 2:10 pm involving eleven states in Peninsular and outside Peninsular Malaysia.

Among the states that are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds until 5 this afternoon are:

Perlis, Kedah (Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Pendang, Sik and Baling) Perak (Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim). Pahang ( Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Raub, Bentong, Bera and Rompin). Selangor. WP Kuala Lumpur. WP Putrajaya. Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban, Kuala Pilah, and Jempol). Johor.

Sarawak (Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong Sarikei (Pakan and Julau), Sibu (Kanowit and Selangau), Mukah (Mukah), Kapit (Song), Bintulu and Miri (Subis dan Miri). Sabah (Inland (Kuala Penyu and Beaufort), West Coast, Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan) and Kudat (Kota Marudu).
