The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) recently issued a warning of thunderstorms or heavy rains in some areas in Malaysia which is expected to occur until 7 pm tonight.
A warning was issued at 3.50 pm and it will be faced by several states in Malaysia. Among the states that are expected to be hit by thunderstorms or heavy rain until 7 pm are Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Putrajaya, Johor, and Sarawak.
Here are some areas in the affected states that will be hit by a thunderstorm until 7 pm today:
- Perlis
- Kedah: (Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar and Pokok Sena)
- Perak: (Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim)
- Selangor: (Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat and Sepang)
- Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
- Federal Territory of Putrajaya
- Johor: (Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Potian and Johor Bahru)
- Sarawak: Sibu(Kanowit and Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah), Kapit (Song and Belaga), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang
