Recently, viral on social media about the mural paintings of the country’s key leaders, including the face of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA), were vandalized by irresponsible people and written with abusive words on the painting.

The latest situation of the incident, it is said that Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) acted quickly by deleting the entire damaged painting using white paint.

It was later confirmed by Friends of PDRM on Facebook, that the mural has been deleted.

“Following the action of ‘Vandalism’ on a viral mural painting in Shah Alam. The Local Authority (MBSA) was quick to delete the entire painting. Well done!” stated Friends of PDRM.

They not only vandalized the faces of all national heroes but also wrote abusive words including on the faces of the YDPA which violated the laws of the country.

The mural painting was created by a young man named Suhaimi Ali that consists of Malaysia’s key leaders who worked hard to handle the COVID-19 crisis in the country and was located at the Taman Cahaya Alam section U12, Shah Alam. Then, it became viral and caught the attention of many Malaysians.

Although his artwork has been damaged, Suhaimi stated on his Facebook post that he is grateful to those who support his talent.

“Here I would like to thank you for supporting my talent..and showing my talent to everyone..and I apologize..no more murals at u12, .. for people to come and take pictures ..,” said Suhaimi.

“Hero is gone. Thank you,” he added.

It is believed that this case will be further investigated by the police. Hopefully, this case can be resolved and the perpetrator gets his punishment.
