‘The Show Must Go On’, GSC Shares SOPs of Cinemas Reopen Today

Announced by Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob on June, 22, cinemas, theatres and live event spaces will be allowed to reopen from July 1, which is starting today.

He said this will only be for enclosed halls or spaces, adding that the maximum number of people allowed will be 250, subject to the size of the area.

Having said that, strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) must be adhered to, including marking seats to ensure social distancing and recording the temperatures of visitors.

On the reopening, GSCCinemas on their platform shares guidelines for each audience to follow before entering the cinema from today.
