Types Of Food That Are Dangerous For Cats

For those out there who own one or more cats, you all just want the best for your cats. Who has a cat must once give your cat your leftover. However, there certain types of food that are dangerous for our beloved pets. Also, the food might be poisonous for our cats.

Onions

Every kind of onions is bad for cats. Onions can affect the amount of blood in a cat’s body. This also might cause anemia if we let them eat onions. It is poisonous if a cat eat this food in a large amount.

Raw egg and meat

Same as humans, these raw ingredients are bad for cats. There is a risk that these foods contain salmonella bacteria and can give E. Coli. The symptoms are vomiting, diarrhea and exhausted. This also can be spread to humans.

Chocolate and caffeine drinks

We always heard that chocolate is bad for dogs. Actually chocolate is also bad for cats. Chocolate contains the ingredients that can make your cat vomits, diarrhea, high fever, exhausted, unstable heartbeat, and seizures for our cats. The same ingredients can be found in caffeine drinks.

Milk and dairy products

Even cats love milk, it’s actually bad for them. Cats actually have a problem where their stomach can’t digest lactose contained in milk. This will give them diarrhea and stomachache. Cats usually only drink milk when they were kittens only in few weeks.

Grapes and raisins

A little amount of grapes or raisins is enough to make a cat feel sick. Worst, it can lead to kidney failure. In 12 hours, a cat that eats raisins or grape will start to vomit. After 24 hours, the cat will have diarrhea and lost its appetite and feels hurt at their abdomens.
