A video shared on the internet shows a tourist beat a sleeping baby seal. He smacking the baby seal multiple times with a slipper while the animal was just resting on the beach.
According to Daily Mail, a video allegedly shows a male Chinese tourist hitting the South African fur baby seal a dozen times with a slipper. The baby seal then suddenly sits up and rushes to escape on the Cape Cross beach in Namibia of south-western Africa.
The animal welfare organization claimed that the video was made to seek attention and attract views on social media.
