Water Supply Disruption Involves 420,000 Consumers In Selangor and KL Starting July 14

About 420,000 users in 290 areas in Petaling Jaya, Klang, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, and Kuala Langat are expected to experience scheduled water supply disruptions from July 14 to 17.

According to Selangor Water Management Sdn Bhd (Water Selangor), the disruption is due to the improvement of the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant (LRA) Phase 3, which includes the replacement of several key valve networks to improve system efficiency and enable the LRA to operate more efficiently.

For those affected, Air Selangor will also move 91 water tankers to affected areas, focusing on critical premises such as hospitals and dialysis centers.
