13 People Was Injured After An Explosion Happened At A Gas Station In Russia

An explosion was reported happened at a gas station in Volgograd, Russia. According to Liveuamap on Twitter, a total of 13 individuals were reported injured in the incident.

The blast is believed to have started when a tank carrying gas caught fire at a gas station in Traktorozavodsky district, the APA media reported citing a statement from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire was later brought under control and the injured victim was taken to hospital.

There is no further information on the cause of the tank fire so far.

Earlier in 2013, a total of 14 people were reported dead in an explosion involving a bus in the same city. The incident was reported to be the second incident to occur within 24 hours after a suicide bomber attacked the city’s main train station causing 17 deaths.
