A total of 21 positive cases of new Covid-19 infections were reported in the country, bringing the total to 9,023 cases as of Wednesday (5 August 2020).
Through the latest announcement by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), the total number of active cases with Covid-19 infection is 196 cases and they have been segregated for hospital treatment.
Meanwhile, the cumulative number of Covid-19 deaths in Malaysia remained at 125 cases or 1.39 percent of the total cases.
