People in Asia are generally less likely to drink milk for some reasons, including lactose intolerance and the supposedly low milk consumption. But, does drinking milk make you fat?
Actually, it contains a lot of benefits such as carbs, fat, protein, calcium, and other vitamins and minerals.
Drinking milk in fact, will not make your body fat, but consuming it in excess may reduce the size of your body because milk contains fat.
Due to the nutrient, you may wonder either milk can help you fat or not. This question often comes to mind most of us, leading many to dislike milk. Because of this, Dr. Erna Nadia, one of the Medical Officers of the Malaysian Medical Mythbusters group appeared to correct this perception.
Drink a little milk?
Many of my female patients are super afraid to drink milk because they say it will make their body fat.
Really?
It should be okay
It makes the body bigger, the waist wider, the cheeks grow, the arms of the thighs are when we don’t eat. It’s not because of milk.
Milk is a good source of protein.
Don’t be afraid of food and drinks.
Seriously it’s not the wrong food.
When the weight goes up, point and mirror yourself. Where is our diet wrong? This diet does not mean not eating but diet is our daily diet.
Our daily diet should be complete and healthy. Complete with macronutrition and micronutrition. Follow the half-quarter concept, reduce food and sweet drinks and reduce oil.
This milk has a simple sugar that is lactose. There are 3 types of milk that is
1. Creamy milk,
2. Low fat milk,
3. Skim milk.
There will be an increase in sucrose sugar if there are flavors like strawberries, chocolate and others.
This creamy milk has high fat content. It fits his name. Creamy cream is well-liked. So, if there is a chronic illness like high blood pressure, please avoid it if possible.
For the low fat milk, it is low in fat and calories, less than 3%. So, this milk is recommended for people with high cholesterol problems or for those who want to reduce daily calories, like me🤭
The skim milk is good too because the fat content is slightly less than 0.5%. Very suitable for people with high blood pressure, diabetes and many more.
Milk should be taken daily, 2-3 times a day because it is rich in the calcium needed by our bones and our body.
Sweet condensed milk or creamer is not milk. So don’t misunderstand. The sweetened condensed milk / creamer already added with sugar that replaced with vegetable oil.
Ok, when are you going to drink this milk?
It is best to drink separately from the main dishes such as breakfast, lunch and evening. Because calcium in milk prevents the absorption of iron in our main dish dishes.
So, for those who are having low hb (low blood pressure), eating high iron foods like spinach, meat, fish, then eating whole milk should be ok? 😊
Calcium in the blood will usually be stored / filled in to fill the bone cavity at night. So if you have less milk intake, the lid does not fill up well and at the same time, the calcium content in the body also decreases.
That’s why it can take a long time to get osteoporosis aka fragile bone. Normal osteoporosis can be severe and can cause other problems.
So, it is best to drink milk before tidoq and after waking up from sleep
