IKEA Launches Collection of ‘Tikar Mengkuang’, In Collaboration With Thai’s Designer

After succeeding with the “MARKERAD” collection with Virgil Abloh, IKEA Malaysia will bring in their special collaboration collection with a brand from Thailand, GREYHOUND ORIGINAL.

This SAMMANKOPPLA collection is unique because its designer, Bhanu Inkawat takes inspiration from furniture and home appliances that are commonly seen in Thailand in producing this collection. The result is mats and bags with modern patterns, bottle-shaped bedside lamps, comfortable triangular cushions, and more.

Bhanu wants to bring the street style of Bangkok to the whole world with a modern twist that is perfect for your room or living room. Modern, traditional Thai and sustainable living elements are applied in each product so that the brand philosophy of GREYHOUND and IKEA exists in this collection.

This unique and fun SAMMANKOPPLA collection can be purchased online here with a starting price of RM9.90 – RM399.
