Putrajaya, 14 August – A total of 20 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Malaysia today, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 9,149 cases so far.
According to the Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, the active cases with COVID-19 infection are 196 people.
Of that number, a total of 4 cases were treated in intensive care units with one of them in need of respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, a total of seven COVID-19 patients were confirmed cured, making the cumulative discharge amount of 8828 equivalent to 96.5 percent.
No new deaths were recorded today.
