LATEST COVID-19: 12 New Cases Today Including 7 Bargain Cluster Cases & 2 Sala Cluster Cases

Putrajaya, 17 August- A total of 12 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Malaysia today, reported the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).

From that figure, a total of 10 cases involved local transmission while the other two were import cases.

A total of seven additions were recorded involving the Tawar Cluster and two cases involving the Sala Cluster, both in Kedah. Another case was detected in the symptomatic screening in Selangor involving a local citizen.

Meanwhile, the import case involved two non-citizens who arrived in Kuala Lumpur from abroad.

No new deaths were reported.
