Mysterious Illness Has Caused A Woman’s Belly In China Becoming Larger

A woman in China had an unexpected incident when her stomach suddenly swelled in the past two years. It is still unknown how the mysterious condition can happen.

The woman named Huang Goxian said that her belly keeps expanding and now it weighs around 44 pounds (19 kg).

The 36 years old mother lives in the village of Dazhi of Songqi Town outside the city of Anshun in China with her two children. While her husband lives and works in a big city to support the family financially.

Huang also said that her swelled belly has made it difficult for her to sleep, walk or look after her two children. It is believed that she has called some help through local media regarding her condition.

She hopes that she could raise £ 3,290 (RM16, 372) with the help from public so that she could go to a specialist to get her condition diagnosed and treated.

A local hospital previously has informed her that their specialists willing to treat her. But, the possible operation might cost more.

Huang claims that her belly that keeps expanding felt painful and she sought medical advice. The pain went away after taking medicine but her belly keeps becoming bigger.

The doctors that Huang has met said that she suffered from a series of illnesses, such as liver cirrhosis, ovarian cancer, and also an abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen and chest.

Unfortunately, it is still unknown what is the reasons for her belly growth.

For now, her eldest son has to do most of the housework. He was just 10 years old.

“I used to do homework very quickly, but now my big belly has seriously impacted my normal life,” said Huang.

“My two children are still young. Their grandmother and grandfather are helping to look after them now,” she added.

Huang also hopes to recover and become healthy as soon as possible.
