New Recreational Park Opening Soon in Singapore, Big As Three Football Fields

People are now eager to go out after a few months of being quarantine. Most recreational parks have been opened for public use after being closed due to COVID-19.

The authority is suggesting the people keep on following social distancing. Social distancing is believed to prevent the spreading of the virus. However, it is quite hard to follow the instructions when we are at recreational parks as they are so many people who are spending their time there too. How we wish to have a recreational park as big as three football fields.

Unbelievably, Singapore is going to have that. It is going to open a new recreational park at the green rooftop of the new Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant. According to the Urban Redevelopment Authority, it is going to open to the public soon.

Previously, Singapore already has a recreational park as big as four football fields at the green rooftop of Marina Barrage.

Adding to that, this 20,000-square-metre park will be connected to East Coast Park and Gardens by the Bay East. They will be connected through the Eastern Coastal Park Connector Network.

The visitors can enjoy their time there without worrying about not getting a spot in the park as the park is large enough to have a mass of visitors.

Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant is a dual-mode desalination plant that is operating in Singapore. It is the fourth plant and it will treat either the seawater or freshwater drawn from the Marina Reservoir.
