Thunderstorm Warning In 11 States In The Peninsula & Some Areas In Sabah Until 5 PM

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued thunderstorm warnings in several areas in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Selangor, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, and Sabah.

The statement mentioned those involved, namely the entire states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak. Apart from that, Tumpat, Pasir mas, Jeli, Tanah Merah and Gua Musang (Kelantan); Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub and Betong (Pahang); The entire state of Selangor, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya; Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau and Jempol (Negeri Sembilan); Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bharu (Johor.)

Meanwhile in Sabah, the areas involved are Tawau, Kunak, Lahad Datu and Sandakan (Kinabatangan).

The thunderstorm warning is expected to last until 5 p.m.

It is hoped that the affected areas will be more careful and vigilant when returning from work.
