(Video) Coughing For More Than 2 Weeks Or Loss Of Appetite? Be Careful Because You Might Have TB – MOH

Tuberculosis is one of the diseases that we cannot take lightly and need immediate treatment. As said by WebMD, Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Usually, this bacteria will attack the lungs, but it can also damage other parts of the body. It can also spread through the air by a person that has TB.

According to a tweet by the Ministry of Health (MOH), a person that has symptoms of TB must get immediate treatment at a health facility because it can be fatal if left untreated.

Below are the symptoms of TB:

  • cough for more than 2 weeks
  • have no appetite
  • lose weight
  • sweat at night
  • coughing up blood
