(Video) Europe’s First Underwater Museum Now Open After COVID-19 Delayed

Dealing with the unforeseen challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a significant toll on tourism sector across the world. Closing instructions were made following concerns about the virus infection.

If in Japan they have a unique museum of instant noodles and a human-faced stone museum, in Spain there is a moreawesome museum.The museum were in the sea and it was the first to open in Europe.

The Underwater Museum or Museo Atlantico is located near Bahia de Las Coloradas Beach in the Lanzarote archipelago, it has officially opened to the public.

What you will see here are very artistic sculptures produced by Jason deCaires Taylor, a famous sculptor of British descent.There are more than 300 sculptures on display in this museum.

Although housed in the sea, the museum is protected by a 30-meter high wall weighing almost 100 tons. And it took 3 years to complete. Apart from being a tourist attraction, the purpose of this museum was built to apply moral elements to warn about environmental pollution and global warming that is happening now.
