(Video) Thiago Silva Left Paris Saint-Germain After 8 Seasons With The Squad

French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) pay tribute to Brazilian footballer Thiago Silva for eight years with the club.

The service of the former PSG captain was conveyed through PSG’s official Twitter account yesterday. The 35 years old footballer is said to be moving to the English Premier League club, Chelsea.

“Thiago, thank you for eight years of unforgettable memories, leadership, and commitment. You are one of the greats and your legendary status at PSG will live forever,” said PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi in the tweet.

“My very best wishes to you and your family for your new adventures, you will always be part of our family and our history, Merci Captain,” he added.

Since moving to PSG in 2012 from AC Milan, various achievements that Silva has achieved with the club. Among them are winning Ligue 1 seven times, winning the French Cup five times, and appearing in 315 matches with PSG.
