12 Years of Hardworking At IPK Pahang, Tho The K9 Took Its Last Breath

Kuantan, Pahang, 20 September, a member of the service animals society, Tho, passed away. The death of the hardworking K9 was uploaded on the Pahang Police Facebook page and the official PDRM Facebook page.

Tho, a 12-year-old K9 took his last breath on 20 September around 7:30 pm. Served as a K9 for the Criminal Investigation Department of IPK Johor for 12 years and has involved in busting many drug smuggling operations.

It said that Tho was born in China in 2008 and when he was eight months old and served in the K9 section in JSJ IPK Johor before moved to JSJ IPK Pahang on 1 June 2018. He was then assigned to Sergent Patrick Sandai. He recalled that whenever Tho felt that the sergeant was having a bad day, the dog would always rub against his legs showing that he is trying to cheer him up, said Sergent Patrick.

“Goodbye forever, Tho. Your loss will be remembered and thank you for your services for the team”, the post said.
