Through an infographic released by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), the public is advised to perform visual level tests, measurement of corneal curvature, and eye health examination from a licensed optometrist or optician.

Even people are advised not to buy contact lenses from counter sellers or from online sales. In addition, prolonged use of contact lenses can cause complications to your health.

How to take care of good hygiene of contact lens containers

1. Contact lenses should be changed every 3 months.

2. Contact lens containers should be washed with contact lens cleaning solution, not with tap water.

3. Contact lenses should be stored or placed in or in a dry environment. do not store contact lenses in a damp bathroom or environment.
