The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) through a tweet on its official Twitter account has shared information on the movement of 14 days of COVID-19 case distribution by the district in Malaysia as of August 20 to September 2, 2020.
Through the case distribution data, the MOH has reported that the number of green zones continues to increase.
Among the states that have been recognized as green zones are Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, and most recently Penang and Johor.
According to the MOH, Penang, and Johor have regained their green zone status after no new COVID-19 cases for 14 days.
MOH also reported that the Kuantan district located in Pahang has turned into a yellow zone after there was a new COVID-19 case recorded yesterday.
The public is advised to remain in compliance with the SOPs that have been set to help the government to make the whole country a green zone.
