Have You Ever Performed Walking Exercises? Here Are 5 Benefits Of The Exercise

Malaysians, especially working people, definitely want to get good health to continue their daily activities without any problems. This can be achieved by exercising regularly.

However, there is no denying that there are a few of you who do not like to exercise. But, did you know there is an easy exercise to do which is walking exercise?

Through a post by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) on Facebook, only 30 minutes are needed in a day for all of us to maintain good health by doing walking exercises.

“This exercise may seem easy, but it can actually improve heart health as well as lose weight,” said MOH.

By doing the exercise 30 minutes a day, five benefits can be obtained namely:

  • Lose weight
  • Strengthens bones and muscles
  • Reduce the risk of diabetes
  • Improves heart health
  • Increases endorphin hormone levels

While we can do this walking exercise, the MOH also reminds us to always adhere to the SOP while outdoors to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
