Do not misunderstand. The author does not mean the popcorn purchased before entering the cinema.

The food has been coated with caramel and added flavors making it as high as 1,000 calories.

In 2009, the Center for Science in the Public Interest found that a set of a combo with corn and medium-sized carbonated water often sold at cinema kiosks had 1,610 calories.

It also has 60 grams of saturated fat content equivalent to the recommended amount of fat intake for a period of 3 days.

Frankly, this cornflower is not suitable to eat if you want to lose weight.

However, raw popped popcorn contains only 31 calories per cup. It is a snack that contains the lowest amount of calories compared to other snacks.

Furthermore, these 15 calories of raw corn cereal have a satiety capacity equal to 150 calories of potato crackers.

However, the key to success in losing weight depends on self-discipline in limiting food intake even if it is healthy, like this corn on the cob.

If taken in large quantities, it remains fattening.

Tips to stay healthy: High-fiber popcorn

Raw corn bertih is made from unprocessed grains, meaning it contains a high fiber.

Fiber is a mineral that can not be absorbed by the body but it has some good effects on the physiology of the body.

Fiber can reduce the level of glucose uptake in the small intestine to provide stability of insulin secretion which in turn can contribute to healthy weight loss.

It also facilitates the movement of feces through the large intestine and plays an important role in preventing bowel cancer that is currently contagious.

According to a study conducted by Joe Vinson, even breakfast cereals like oats are often marketed as pure cereal food ingredients.

However, it does not contain the same high percentage of raw corn cereals.

Its fiber content can maintain an individual’s level of satiety for a long time and it can have a positive effect on the individual’s digestive system.

Antioxidant components

Polyphenol is an antioxidant molecule contained in fruits and vegetables.

However, the benefits of these antioxidants can only be enjoyed at a minimum as the fruits and vegetables have a high water content.

Popcorn also has these antioxidant molecules making it the best food to stay healthy.

In fact, it has a very concentrated polyphenol content due to its low water content (4 percent).

A bowl of cornmeal has a higher amount of polyphenols than any other fruit or vegetable. It is one of the healthy alternatives.

These grains are also rich in vitamins which are an important component in the diet of every individual.

The polyphenol content in it can prevent you from getting cardiovascular disease and cancer as polyphenol has anti-inflammatory properties.
