18-Years-Old Teenager Caught Many Attention, Marrying Two Girls in 2 Weeks

A young man became the focus of public attention after marrying two girls in just two weeks. The news of their marriage from West Lombok has spread throughout the country of Indonesia.

According to Kompas.com, the 18-year-old boy who is also a student is married to a girl who is still in school.

The father of the teenager said that his son’s wedding was held in the traditional way without informing the Religious Office.

According to him, his eldest son was initially married to his first wife on September 17 but a week later they were shocked by the arrival of the family of another girl who wanted to marry their child.

“While I was sleeping, I was shocked when the family came to ask to marry their daughter to my son, causing my wife to faint,” he said to Kompas.com.

“We accept it and we have to take responsibility,” he added.

The second wedding was held on October 12 with a dowry of Rp 1 million. The cost of the young man’s wedding reception with his two wives is estimated at around Rp 50 million.
