CMCO: Police Permit, Valid Documents Needed For Cross-District Travel

Today is the first day of the implementation of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for the states of Selangor, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya as announced by the Senior Minister (Security), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on 12 October.

In a status uploaded on the Twitter page of the National Security Council informed, the previous rules was not applied to the current situation.

Workers are allowed to travel inter-district and inter-state provided they have valid work passes or approval letters from their employers.

However, for those who need to travel through Selangor and Kuala Lumpur to other states are advised to seek permission at the nearest police station before travelling.
