Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Allowed To Leave Ward This Afternoon

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri has now been allowed to return after receiving COVID-19 treatment at Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban.

The news was confirmed by himself through his Twitter account just now.

“I was allowed to leave the ward this afternoon because I was confirmed to have fully recovered from COVID-19. All praise be to Allah who with His blessings is perfect for all goodness,” he wrote.

However, he will rest at home until the period of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) expires as recommended by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

He further explained that all meetings will be done through video conferencing only in addition to monitoring work from home.

“I will continue to monitor all the activities and reports of religious agencies under my responsibility from home.

“My main focus at the moment is to channel aid to the target group, especially in WP Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Selangor. This is because the CMCO has started and assistance should be channeled as soon as possible,” he said.

Before this, Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad was reported positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized on October 5.
