New Method Of Paying For Street Parking In KL Now Only Using Mobile Application

The method of payment of street parking charges using machines in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur has ended on 30 September.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said in a statement on Facebook that the new method of payment of the charge was introduced using only a mobile application and E-wallet will take effect from October 1 today.

The application that users will use to pay the charge is EZ Smart Park, Flexiparking, Wilayah Parking or M-Cash.

“Planning and integration with Boost and Touch n Go E-wallet are also being implemented by DBKL to provide wider options to users for this payment method.

“It is also informed that the daily pass and monthly pass for parking at this time are still not operational,” the statement said yesterday.

Accordingly, the facilities will be activated after the system upgrade is implemented.

However, applications for special parking are still operating as usual and the Parking Charge (TLK) rate remains the same.

“DBKL encourages the public to adapt to use this new method,” the statement added.
