Stop Littering Disposable Face Masks On Roads And In Drains – MBPP

Publics nowadays tend to do this dangerous behavior of littering their disposable face masks wherever they wanted especially on roads and also in drains. Little that they know, this action would lead to more harmful consequences that will surely affect the whole community. Recently, Penang City Council (MBPP) has been urging all the public to dispose of their face masks responsibly and not littering them all over the places.

According to the posting on the official Facebook social media platform of Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang, it shows all the photos of MBPP workers who were picking up many used disposable masks on the roads and also in other public spaces where people have tossed them. This is such an irresponsible action as disposable masks should be discarded in the rubbish bins.

The caption of the post stated, “Appreciate the hard work of the MBPP Yellow Shirt heroes who are always trying to clean up our state”.

MBPP strictly urges the public to be really responsible for the disposable masks that they have worn into the designated rubbish bins so that we could stop the spread of this dangerous coronavirus together and eventually flatten the curve of infection in Malaysia especially Pulau Pinang that has become really serious recently.
