US President Donald Trump Claims He Is ‘Immune’ to COVID-19

United States President Donald Trump declared himself immune from COVID-19 and insisted he was now ready to campaign again to defend his position in the White House.

Last Saturday, Trump was given permission by his medical team to return to the campaign. The 74-year-old president later on Sunday said he was immune to COVID-19 in a tweet on Twitter.

“A total and complete sign off from White House Doctors yesterday. That means I can’t get it (immune), and can’t give it. Very nice to know,” said Trump.

But Twitter later hid Trump’s tweet, stating that the tweet violated its rules on misleading and potentially dangerous information.

The tweet can still be seen after the user clicks on the warning.

“This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19,” said Twitter on the tweet.
