Ustaz Ebit Apologizes For Helping Rent A Bus For Stranded Students

Ustaz Ebit Lew has recently issued an apology statement as he had to hold back for a while the service of a total of 20 free busses that he intentionally wanted to give to all the stranded students in a particular university. He wanted to help all the students to go back to their hometowns. The reason for him to hold back these buses is that he had to wait for permission from the administration team of the university before he could help all the stranded students.

He had posted an entry on his Facebook page not so long ago. The posting was meant to inform that there are so many students that have reached out to him asking for his help. The help that they wanted was major to help them to get back to their home safely. This is because they have been stranded so long at their respective universities due to the announcement made by the government that advised all universities to delay the face to face registration and also to continue with the online distance learning as before.

Ustaz Ebit Lew also has uploaded some pictures on his Facebook page. The pictures show that all the buses were responsible to send UPSI’s students home to the east coast.

Other than all the kindness that he had done for all the students, he also promised to arrange all the busses home for all the stranded students at other universities so that they could get home safely.

There are also other things that went viral on social media recently and that is the media statement that was uploaded by UPSI’s student representative council on Facebook.

Based on the media statement that has been posted, the Student Representative Council of UPSI really appreciates the kind act that wanted to be done by Ustaz Ebit Lew.

Nevertheless, Ustaz Ebit Lew needs to make sure that all the processes involved to send all their students back home still abide by the SOP that has been standardized. This is because this country has already had a high enough number of cases for COVID-19 and they would not want to increase it even more.

Based on the statement, the effort made by Ustaz Ebit Lew needs to get permission from the administration team of the university beforehand. The university’s permission would automatically be the permission from the Ministry Of Higher Education and also the Malaysian National Security Council.
