Australian Man Reunited With His Wallet After Losing It In 1994

A man in Australia did not expect to find his wallet lost 25 years ago in 1994. The wallet was found by Joseph Bewes while walking on a beach in Lennox Head, New South Wales.

He then photographed the contents of the wallet before making a post on Facebook to find its owner, Paul Davis. It is said that Paul Davis lost his wallet in 1994 while celebrating New Year’s Eve with his friends.

“It was a pretty hectic night, a bit of alcohol involved,” said Davis.

“I went on a bit of a mad hectic rush and I couldn’t find it,” he added.

The wallet contained banknotes, Medical cards, and Visa debit cards found last Thursday. It even contains A$5 banknotes.

Davis’s luck was on his side when his cousin’s wife saw the post and immediately informed him. Despite being missing from more than two decades at sea, Davis says he plans to frame his wallet at his bar.

“I think I might take it in and get it framed up and hang it in the bar or in the house somewhere,” continued Davis.
