The new live-action teaser for Clifford the Big Red Dog has fans divided over how they should take it – with the CGI and choice of execution has brought fans not looking forward to the initial looks of it.
Clifford the Big Red Dog will be released next year, where the teaser shows multiple dogs lined up, then the last one being Clifford, his size two-three times bigger than the rest.

Right off the bat, Clifford was shown to be unrealistically animated, with a red color that used to suit him so much, being strange and unnatural.
Even though the dog looks exceptionally adorable, people can’t help pinpoint the fact that the CGI, which is supposed to be an alternate version of realism, is just “bad”.
Fans all over Twitter expressed how unpleased they were at the teaser release by making jokes about it.
Though, despite the backlash, many people are also excited by the release of the movie. They rationalized it as Clifford still being a puppy, while we haven’t yet seen him all grown up like in the cartoon.
Nonetheless, this film is very anticipated by a large group of people, waiting to see what they will think of the movie as a whole.
